very rare piece of ancient metal work from south india (around 17. century), most likely from the late Vijayanagara dynasty. It was used for parfums or any other sacred item (like Gangajala or Kaveriwater etc.). The ornaments are fine workmanship and is made from pure copper. The mouth of the pot is a bit deformed due to mishandling in the past. But all in all the vase is intakt and keeps the water inside. The size is 7,5 cm and weights 144 g. Even the bottom of the vase is decorated with ornaments and is a real good collection.
